Anouskas...
Anouskas take their name from the girl who was first to be given one, a birthday card made of 'foamboard'. Now they are mainly made from MDF (medium density fibreboard) or 1"-ply and they range from flower-vases to 'sculptures' of waves as well as the propotypes for a range of furniture.

anouska tables - 2005
New Flower-Pot tables...
created for the inaugural Jazz Night as part of the 2005 Var Village Voice jazz season...
It has been a while since new anouskas appeared but here are the beginnings of a whole new range. They are made to commission. The smaller table has a Top that doubles as a drinks tray, while the two larger tables have supports that permit the Top to have a hole to take a wine cooler! Pratique, non?!

The Pansy-Pot Table
Note that the dimensions of both this table and the Flower-Pot Table above are matched, so that their tops are inter-changable; both supports will take a wine-cooler if the top with the hole is chosen.
The hole was designed for a wine-cooler but could equally well be used for a salad or hors d'oeuvre platter...
In the Wine-Cooler top there are grooves that allow champagne glasses to be stored hanging down.
